Last night The Libertines played a covert gig at Camden's The Blues Kitchen to an audience of 265 over the moon fans. The show hadn't been announced via any official channels, but good old word of mouth saw the venue packed out and a queue trailing round the club as The Libs played at 10pm.
The night started at The Dublin Castle, where all four members were enjoying a drink, culminating in Pete Doherty jumping on stage to perform 'Albion', with Carl Barat accompanying him on drums. The band then went on to The Blues Kitchen and played a riotous set which included covers of The Strokes, The Clash, Amy Winehouse, Chas & Dave, The Stone Roses, and we kid you not, Tiffany's I Think We're Alone now, as well as a raft of their own tunes.

At one point Barat even crowd surfed to the bar, got a drink, and surfed back, as seen in Matt Wilkinson's footage above. It's great having the Libertines back isn't it? Head here for more on The Libertines.
