From the small North West town of Leigh to signing for Warner Brothers, it's been quite a journey for indie-pop four-piece The Lottery Winners. To mark that ride they've announced a UK tour run from September.
They're the type of band to put an instant smile on your face, spinning a sound that bites with an eighties indie chime and radio-engineered pop. In Tom Rylance they've got a magnetizing front-man and it's quite clear they've got the credentials to go as far as they want.
Legendary A&R whizz Seymour Stein labelled them as "the best band since the Smiths" and it's got to be said they bare an uncanny resemblance too. Make that judgement when The Lottery Winners take the show on the road for their debut headline tour - we're sure you'll agree.
