Semi-fictional psych group The Moonlandingz featuring Saul and Lias from Fat White Family and members of Eccentronic Research Council embark on their 'Ultimate Realism' tour in September.
The eccentric collective led by Lias' Johnny Rocket alter-ego will snapshot "the futile embarrassment that is contemporary British life and embrace it relentlessly, passionately, pathetically!!”. Scope their satirical brilliance by listening to 'Sweet Saturn Nine' below.
Returning to reality, they recently supported Iggy Pop on the opening night of his tour and have finished recording their debut album, due early next year. On this tour they include dates at The White Hotel in Salford and Liverpool's International Festival of psychedelia.
There is arguably no better time to parody contemporary British life, so why not join the wild and erratic Johnny Rocket and be weirdly enthralled in the process?
UK tour dates below:
Salford - The White Hotel, Thursday 22nd September
Sheffield - Queens Social Club, Friday 23rd September
Liverpool - International Festival of Psychedelia, Saturday 24th September
Glasgow - Broadcast, Monday 26th September
London - Oslo, Thursday 29th September
