The Moonlandingz can announce some more good news after recently signing to Transgressive Records; 2017 will bring tour dates, as well as a highly-anticipated debut album.
For the blissfully unaware, The Moonlandingz began as a fictional band between members of the Eccentronic Research Council and The Fat White Family. In effect they are a demon to all that is soullessly manufactured and tasteless in the music industry, and to you or me, just all round fucking awesome in both concept and live form.
Led by Johnny Rocket aka Fat White's Lias Saoudi, the band will release their album Interplanetary Class Classics in March - a blast of 'proper weird catchy glorious filthy pop'. They recorded the album in New York with Sean Lennon and it features the likes of Slow Club's Rebecca Taylor and "YOKO fucking ONO".
