The Rainbow Venues respond to decision to revoke license

More sad news struck clubland yesterday, with the announcement that The Rainbow Venues' license had been permanently revoked by Birmingham City Council.

The police lodged an application for an expedited review following the drug-related death of 19-year-old Michael Trueman at a Halloween event last month.

Since 2004, the team behind the complex have been resurrecting redundant buildings and regenerating the area around Digbeth, making it one of the UK's busiest and most importance dance music and arts hubs.
