King of the remix and inspiration to many of today's finest DJ's, Nicolas Laugier aka The Reflex, will bring his palette of pop smashes to Hoochie Coochie in Newcastle on Friday 2nd September.
Laugier's revisionism is highly revered and his skills lie in re-energising some timeless classics. Check out his Skiddle mix below for a true flavour of his work.

The master of mixing has been praised heavily by the likes of Nile Rodgers, Horse Meat Disco, Jazzy Jeff and many many more for his re-imagined versions of soul, funk and disco classics - a topic discussed when we spoke to the DJ about reinventing the past back in 2014.
Having played host to the likes of Norman Jay and Dimitri From Paris, funk and soul club Hoochie Coochie will provide the perfect surroundings for this event which runs from 10 pm - 4am.
