Guitarist Ronnie Wood has said that The Rolling Stones will enter the studio to record their first album in ten years next year. (See them perform at Glastonbury below)
Fellow member Keith Richards set the rumours in place by suggesting they would begin work next year. In an interview with ABC Radio, Ronnie said: "We’ll maybe go in the studio in December and cut a few tracks and see what happens" suggesting the groundwork will start earlier.
The Rolling Stones last released an album, The Bigger Bang in 2005; Keith Richards dropped his solo album Crosseyed Heart earlier this year and releasing an original Netflix documentary titled 'Under The Influence'.
