Where: The Rockin' Chair in Wrexham
One of the greatest self-made success stories in recent British rock history, The Slow Readers Club are a force to be reckoned with and there has never been a better time to see them live. With an electro-rock style that channels the likes of Depeche Mode, Interpol and Alt-J, with a vocal performance from frontman Aaron Starkie that would give Ian Curtis a run for his money; they are a truly excellent band that captures fans wherever they gig.
Now on album number five, the relentlessness of these guys' musical output is both mesmeric in its persistent quality and admirable in its ethic, and we cannot wait to see what they bring out for this tour of their latest release Knowledge Freedom Power. Secure your tickets soon as and don't miss out if you live in Wrexham. You could even travel, as who knows, you may see a certain duo of Hollywood celebs who now call the town their second home.

Where: The Liquid Room in Edinburgh
Quite possibly the most underrated band Manchester has ever produced, The Chameleons, are back, with original members, Mark Burgess and Reg Smithies reforming to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their very own classic, 1983 'Script of the Bridge' LP. 'Script of the Bridge' featured the singles 'Up The Down Escalator, 'Don't Fall', and 'A Person Isn't Safe Anywhere These Days' and is quite rightly regarded as a Post-Punk masterpiece, but doesn't nearly get the attention it deserves.
The Chameleons are not performing the LP in full but will be mixing up classics from the band's career along with a selection of the finest songs from the 1983 album. But their atmospheric, guitar-based sound and passionate lyrics are enough to turn many a head, and this gig in Edinburgh's The Liquid Room looks set to royally pop off. We'll see you there!

For the past two years, Talk Show, have thrived in South London digs like the Bermondsey, slowly building a following alongside their studies at Goldsmiths College. The majority of that came from Cultural Treason – a series of self-promoted gig nights at Peckham basement record store Rye Wax, which saw them packing out the dingy locale night after night, mosh-pits popping up amongst the LP boxes.
Bursting free of that basement, Talk Show’s live shows remain one of the capital city’s most beguiling prospects, Harrison stomping through stages and clambering around venues, his bark just as bad as his bite. With a punk edge that explores a facet of genre and ventures into drum and bass territories, the band are a proper original outfit, and tears up any stage they set foot on. The chance to see them live should not be one to ponder, as they will be one of the best you see all year, and we can't think of many places better than The Ferret to experience it.

Rock and Roll legends The Zombies head to The Cavern Club on the final day of Eurovision Week to celebrate the release of their brand new album 'Different Game.' The second UK band following The Beatles to score a #1 hit in America, The Zombies infiltrated the airwaves with the sophisticated melodies, breathy vocals, choral backup harmonies and jazzy keyboard riffs of their 1960s hit singles “She’s Not There” and “Tell Her No.”
There are very few chances left to see these guys in such an intimate setting and to hear some of their classics given the acoustic touch will be hard to pass by, both for fans of the band, and of the genre, they come from alike.
