The Skids celebrate 40 years in operation with a UK-wide tour in June 2017.
Hailing from Dunfermline, the band came to prominence in the late-seventies and eighties having piqued the attention of John Peel and supported The Clash.
Brandishing hits like 'The Saints Are Coming' and 'Into The Valley', the band steered their punk rock smash of a debut LP into the UK top 10. Revered for emitting raw energy on stage by the way of monster guitar hooks, Skids are a prime reference point of the punk and new wave era.
Lining up with original vocalist Richard Jobson and Bill Simpson, the band reform to celebrate 40 years of making noise out of Dunfermline with shows around the UK.
