Full details of the support acts for The Stone Roses' homecoming gigs at the Etihad Stadium have been announced. The band will play four dates at Manchester City's home ground, the first of which is on Wednesday 15th June. They will return two days later on Friday 17th June where they will begin a three night residency.
Public Enemy will join the Roses for all four dates whilst Chronixx and new kids on the block Blossoms will complete the bill on the Wednesday. There will be appearances from The Coral and punk pioneers Buzzcocks on the Friday with Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott and Audioweb providing Saturday's support. Timbuctu outfit Sonhoy Blues will join Manchester's prodigal sons Courteeners for the Roses' final appearance on the Sunday.
The Stone Roses have a busy summer ahead of them and the release of new single 'All For One' precedes a headline slot at T in the Park this July. If you're lucky enough to have bagged a ticket or fancy commiserating in style then check out the full range of Stone Roses afterparties.
