The Stone Roses have announced two dates at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium and a slot at next year's T In The Park.
Rumours surfaced earlier today that the band were set to announce a new album and tour dates, after posters of their iconic logo appeared across Manchester.
The Courteeners front man Liam Fray was one of the celebrity fans showing excitement online by tweeting a row of lemons.
Gordon Smart, editor of the Scottish Sun, began speculation that the four piece are set to hit the stage again next year with a post on instagram yesterday (see below).

Speculation the band would release their long awaited third album heightened after they famously reformed to play three enormous shows at Heaton park in 2012.
The band then embarked on a world tour before seemingly disappearing into obscurity. This morning, however, The Stone Roses hash tag was trending on twitter as fans hoped for news of the band's first release since 1994.

Manchester, Etihad Stadium - Saturday 18th June
