The Warehouse Project: New Venue Revealed!

It's been an agonising wait for us all, but The Warehouse Project have today revealed the location of their brand new venue.

From Easter 2012, The Warehouse Project's annual season of club events will be held at a huge discued warehouse on Trafford Park Road; a vast industrial space that perfectly embodies and enhances the club's 'Warehouse' credentials.

With two cavernous rooms, uninterrupted views of the stages and specially installed toilets and facilities, Trafford Park Road is ideally located and equipped to see The Warehouse Project into its next phase.

There will be free parking at the nearby White City Retail Park, and a designated taxi frop off/pick up point outside. The venue is also located on major bus routes and is between two tram stops - Old Trafford and Exchange Quay. A free shuttle bus service to the city centre will be available at the end of each night.

The Warehouse Project announced in July last year that the 2011 season would be the club's last at the now iconic Store Street venue. The Victorian railway arches beneath Picadilly Railway Station had been the club's home since 2007, yet on the 14th July 2011 The Warehouse Project issued a statement indicating the end of the Store Street era. Read that statement here.

The clubbing community feared the worst; that this was the end of the Warehouse Project. However, the in the months that followed it became clear that this wasn't the end but simply a new beginning, as whispers from the WHP camp indicated that a new venue was on the cards; one which would take the club into its next epoch with renewed vigour and a fresh lust for all the things that had made the club so unique in the beginning.

And now, after what seems like a long and agonising wait, The Warehouse Project have revealed the space in which a million more memories are waiting to be created. Will yours be among them?

Ticket holders for The Warehouse Project's two Easter events will be the first to experience the new venue, with the doors opening on the new chapter in the club's story on Good Friday.

And a good Friday it will certainly be as Axwell, Eric Prydz and John Digweed lead a superlative line-up across the two rooms. There are still a limited number of tickets available for this event although they are tantalisingly close to selling out - so hurry up if you want to be part of Warehouse Project history.
