As Leeds' most prodigious nightspot, the iconic Warehouse has been at the forefront of Northern clubbing since the tail end of the seventies, with scene leaders throughout the decades performing at the Somers Street rave den.
Everyone from Frankie Goes To Hollywood to Sugar Hill Gang, Oasis to Sasha, and The Stone Roses to LFO have all appeared, as it has stayed at the cutting edge of clubbing dynamics, which is clear to see with its January and February shows.
The end of this month (January 31st) sees a sexy slab of old skool goodness arrive at the hands of Girl Talk, who hook in nineties euro house pop act N-Trance to perform some of their classic top ten hits, backed up by the Girl Talk DJ team.
Radio One dance music authority Danny Howard steps in on February 7th with his Nothing Else Matters brand in tow. This time out Howard will be joined by Philip George, a producer currently riding high with his new deep house banger 'Wish you Were Mine' (above).
Saturday February 14th sees the city's number one dancehall, bashment and soca night Hot Wuk land at The Warehouse, with a Valentine's Night special guaranteed to 'perk up even the loneliest of singletons'. The 21st sees Bigger Than Barry bring their bass-centric wares to the club, with none other than UK garage don DJ EZ suppyling the top drawer soundtrack to the night's seventh birthday.
Bringing February to a close will be Moschino Hoe's Wavey Garms on the 28th, who fresh off the back of their fourth birthday are primed to tear up Leeds once more. The 'most influential fashion site in the UK' as spouted by The Guardian has matched its online reverence with its party starting prowess, with a slinky nineties soundtrack accompanying a full wall of fashionistas, industry photographers and videographers.
March too is looking pretty tasty, with the likes of Mistajam, Scuba, Dense & Pika and Low Steppa all arriving throughout the month. Head here for all your Leeds Warehouse tickets.
