The Wombats come home for iconic On The Waterfront gig in Liverpool

As one of Liverpool’s biggest musical exports over the last 20 years, The Wombats are returning home to headline the Thursday night of the 2025 series of On The Waterfront, with a sick supporting cast that includes Pale Waves and Sawyer Hill.

Since meeting as teenagers studying at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Art, The Wombats have released five records, with a sixth on the way, and solidified themselves as leading lights of the late 00s indie rock scene. This show will be the culmination of their UK Arena tour next year, so you just know that they are going to bring out all the stops.
