The Xstatic festival draws ever nearer

Set deep in the Derbyshire countryside, the Xstatic takes one of the most unlikely of settings (picturesque and quaint) and turns it into a haven for the most arcane of dance driven hedonism. It’s the location by which hard dance, trance, electro, house and much more becomes the soundtrack for a bunch of like-minded music lovers to lose their minds too.

This year Kissy Sell Out (main picture), Lange, The Tidy Boys, Rob Tissera and the Squatters are among the DJs playing, while a live arena will ensure that the Xstatic Festival has an added slab of the X-Factor to boot. Well, Britain's Got talent to be precise, as they welcome contestants from this year’s Cowell helmed programme The Lovable Rogues. Don’t egg them on though, controversial subject that at present.

The arenas are split into Dirty Funk House delivering, well dirty funked up house, Passion arming the reach for the lasers moments with their signature blend of trance and techno, Storm bringing the hard dance goodness and much, much more. Check the video below from last year’s offering to get a picture of what to expect at the festival, and get a wriggle on if you want to attend - there’s very few tickets left for the event.
