One of the UK’s best-loved boozy bingo nights brings us one of the best Oktoberfest events in Manchester with their Oktoberfest special over at Freight Island.

Yep, Bingo Lingo returns, encouraging you to grab your lederhosen and raise your steins. Bringing rave sounds, confetti chaos, mini-games, beer-themed rounds, Oktoberfest-inspired challenges, and more, it’s one of the more unique ways to enjoy Oktoberfest in Manchester.

Where: Freight Island in Manchester

Bringing the Bavarian vibes with some extra oomph, this event comes to Freight Island over two nights, bringing all sorts of thrills. We're talking about everyone in fancy dress getting stuck into German beer, traditional German food, cocktails, an Oompah band, a live DJ, and games. Where: Sackville Street car park in Manchester

Manchester Oktoberfest, launched in 2014, celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. One of the biggest Oktoberfest bashes in the UK, it welcomes over 10,000 guests each year in its tent on Sackville Street car park. The event brings traditional food, beer, music, and ships Bavarian outfits to attendees before the event.

Oktoberfest Live at Bierkeller

When: every Saturday night in October 2024

Where: Bierkeller, The Printworks in Manchester

Bierkeller has Oktoberfest nights every Saturday in October. Head over to enjoy the live band, Oompah-inspired songs, games, and a DJ playing until late. They’ll be serving up German Oktoberfest beer and bratwurst, and actively encourage dancing on the benches.

Bierkeller is also doing Oktoberfest bottomless brunches with an hour of bottomless drinks, a live band, and Oompah-inspired songs.

Where: The Lawn Club in Manchester

Spinningfields bar and restaurant The Lawn Club celebrates the holiday with Bavarian-themed bottomless brunches. At £38.50 per person, brunchers can enjoy all the steins, cocktails, and bratwurst their heart desires. If you love a good brunch, this is definitely up there with the best Oktoberfest events in Manchester this year.

The award-winning Indian street food experts at Bundobust offer something a little different for the boozy bash. Fusing Indian flavours with traditional German foods, they’re serving up their longest-running specials menu, with currywurst kofta, Bundo pretzel pieces, prost pickles, purple pataka salat, currywurst butties, and more. They’ve also launched a new beer and brought back their highest-rated beer BundoBar.
