That’s right we’re talking about bank holidays, especially one in particular that keeps us pushing through summer; the August Bank Holiday. Want to be a part of a big celebration this August Bank Holiday? Well, look no further because Tuff Groove Recordings is holding a birthday party for their 100th release and they're welcoming everyone to join. Based in The Lower Third in London, it'll be filled with all the best sounds of Hard House, with the company of some amazing guests.
This will also be DJ Paul King's last ever event (for now), so if you want to get the chance to witness some heavy djing get yourself down to The Lower Third this August Bank Holiday.

Sometimes the name speaks for itself, and with this event it definitely does. Held in the vibrant location of Impossible in Manchester, Back By Dope Demand is hosting a big 3 part party to kick the August bank holiday into full swing. With a bottomless brunch from 2pm - 5pm, followed by a rooftop party from 5pm - 10pm, then a Kable Club Bassment from 10pm - 4am to seal the night in.

Each year Dreamland brings out the full works for their Margate summer series and this year is no different, as they have no other than Busted crashing onto their Margate shores. Happening on the Westminster Pier, one of London's best boat parties is making a return sailing all through the River Themes while blasting the best of pop and hip hop. From 7.30 pm to 6 am, the boat will be in full swing giving you plenty of time to not just party but also gaze on the stunning views of London.

As one of the biggest events happening on the August Bank Holiday, there is nothing that you would rather be doing than getting yourself down to Creamfields. As the wonderful festival that it is, Creamfields hits hard on the list it brings you everything you’d expect from a bank holiday weekend.
With fairground attractions, a heavy lineup, and more than enough scenery to get any party-goer going this is the best place to be without worrying about them Sunday scaries the next day. And even better if you’re trying to keep it professional in the workplace, creams is in the most beautiful place possible meaning that you can opt for just saying you went for a really scenic walk that just happened to be surrounded by absolute bangers.

Big names, boomin' baselines, and boutique festivals in a bull field can only indicate one thing; movin festival is back and ready for business. With each year being an absolute dream, Movin festival has now become the place to be during the August bank holiday; and we couldn’t agree more.
Based only a couple miles from Manchester, Movin Festival is based on the beautiful views of the eco-friendly Whitebottom farm in the stunning countryside in Campstall. Plus with their unmissable lineup, there is no doubt that this will be an event to look out for.

Including, De La Soul, N-Trance, Utah Saints, The Wailers, The Bluetones, Dutty Moonshine Big Band and loads more.
Plus just when you couldn't think this festival couldn't get any more wholesome, Solfest is run by army volunteers, (things we love to see), who pride themselves on being one of the biggest independent festivals with a stunning view! With plenty of genre's to choose from, including reggae, indie, rock, folk, punk, and some sprinkles of hip-hop, DnB, and house, Solfest is here to hit every vibe you're looking for this August Bank Holiday.

We try our best not to be too biased about certain festivals, but with it being a Crooked House Event, it was super hard not too. Based in Litchfield, Crooked House In The Park is letting 2024 know it's back, and better than ever. And after a sell-out year last year, they're ready to bring in another one.
With 6 stages full of an array of genres from house, trance, UK garage, drum n bass, and reggae; with Mungo's Hifi ft Charlie P, Jam Jah SoundSystem, Milo Sadler and more as just some of the names headline their Rum and Reggae stage. Who's ready for a session of straight jammin'?
So get ready for mind-blowing visuals, fairground rides, stage of art sound, and 12 hours of non-stop madness.

Another one for the August bank holiday is MKF, also known as Milton Keynes Festival, a 2 day event full of pure tribute acts. Though they get slated pretty hard on social media, the Concrete Jungle is taking a big win by providing you with all the best talents on their grounds of Campbell Park.
Heavy on the rock, indie, metal, alternative, and pop rock genres there is a full spread of things to enjoy at the Milton Keys Festival. And even better it’s family-friendly, so now you don’t have to worry about finding a babysitter. With 30 live bands, 2 stages of music, food and beer stalls, and funfair attractions, it’s definitely worth checking out for those August Bank Holiday plans.

We've got something brand spanking new on the list here, and if you're a fan of hip hop, bassline and heavy UKG then this is going to be right up your street. Bringing all the legends that had us bopping our heads to some serious beats is, Old Skool Neverland Festival. With their list full of everything we love about baseline to blast it through their speakers over 3 days in Basingstoke, and we couldn't be more gassed about this one.
On the agenda for this banging Bank Holiday Festival is, Wiley, Romeo & Lisa Mafia, Luck and Neat, Artful Dodger, Big Brovaz, and plenty more.

If you’re looking for non-music events, the home of the roller disco has a handful of events for you to check out.
They have Rollerboogie on the 23rd, bringing nu-disco tunes before moving into afrobeats, R&B, and hip-hop in the evening and early hours of Saturday morning. On the Saturday, there'll be the Family Jam Early Session, allowing those aged 5 to 14 the chance to take to the floor with their families.
RollerDisco keeps the bank holiday weekend party vibes going with classic disco plus hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Wrapping up the bank holiday weekend, they’ll be coming through with The Sunday Open Age Skate Session on the 25th, allowing those over 5 years old to enjoy the thrill of skating to the soundtrack of DJs.
