So, if you're bound to the busy streets of the capital and are looking for a place to go with the work lot after a busy day, or maybe a place to day drink till sunset with your mates.

If there's one thing London isn't lacking, however, its beer gardens. So with all the choices, we wanted to narrow it down for you and let you in on all the best beer gardens in London. So scroll down and get your maps ready (they fill up quick!)

When: 11am - 11pm Every day, open until 12am on Saturdays.

Where: 41 Jews Row, London SW18 1TB

Found in the back of a South West gastro pub, this Thame-side beer garden is a popular haunt for big groups, particularly the rugby lads, but with wooden benches aplenty and a promise of 'booking or no booking, you’ll always be welcome on board', we're sure it won't affect a top time here.

This place also has some fantastic scran on offer, especially the chin-dribbling burgers of Burger Shack, the 'best burgers in Wandsworth.' So if you're in this part of town, the sun is beating down and you fancy a bev, look no further.

Not only that but it's a great place to watch live sport with several large screens, and is right near Hackney Empire and Ocean making it a perfect stop for sports lovers and gig-goers alike.

Alongside all of this, Pub on the Park serves up some top-notch grub from burgers to hotdogs, to pub classics, to a good old Sunday roast. So what are you waiting for, get down and see what all the hype is about.

Crate Brewery is one of London's best-known breweries, and you only need to take one look at the canal-side beer garden to see why. Serving up top-tier beer and tongue-tingling pizzas, these lads know what they're doing, and if you're a stickler for an industrial vibe, we genuinely can't think of anywhere better.

Crate is not the only thing on this site either, The famous Hackney White Building is also host to Silo, an award-winning zero-waste restaurant, the WB market selling a range of homewares and gifts, and on the canal is Crates's own boat, The Alfred Le Roy, where you can also book and chill with a pint. It's probably the 'coolest' place on this list, and definitely, one to check out if you're after the best beer gardens in London.

The Terrace at Alexandra Palace

Image: Alexandra Palace on Facebook

When: 11am - 11pm every day

Now, we're saving one of the best for last, you will have to book for this one but it's so worth it, you'll get the best possible view of London from a beer garden you can find. As, well as the views of the city, the view the other way isn't too bad either. You'll be on the grounds of Alexandra Palace, feeling like royalty whilst supping your pint, and looking down on all those peasants below (okay that may be a bit far but it's still pretty great).

If you catch a sunny day when booking there's no better place to escape from the busy urban sprawl of Big Smoke and just sit with your mates, have a laugh, and take in the sights.
