An all-season space that is a suntrap when it's out, but is prepped with an overhead cover for when the English weather decides to do its thing.

Plus, with a hearty pub menu, a bangin’ selection of beers, and a dedicated cocktail bar, no matter how you want your night to go, the Owl and Pussycat will provide. 

 


 

Brick Lane Taproom

An initial pop-up that has since blossomed into one of Brick Lane's gems, the Brick Lane Taproom offers a regularly rotating selection of ales, lagers and stouts on tap, a selection which you can enjoy sun-soaked in their incredible enclosed beer garden, which truly is one of the best beer gardens in Shoreditch. 

Alongside the outside space, Brick Lane Taproom offers opportunities for you to battle your besties on their pool tables, dart boards or on one of their many retro board games. It's such a fun bar and one you have to try out if you're in the area.

Strongroom Bar

The biggest, and arguably one of the best beer gardens in Shoreditch, Strongroom Bar is an eclectic, independently-owned space that has been pumping out the pints since 1997. Shoreditch has changed quite a bit since then, but this place has stood the test of time as one of the area's best destinations for a sun-soaked tipple. 

With a world-class music production space, and regular DJ nights also in the space, Strongroom Bar is a must-visit whilst in Shoreditch, and the scran on offer is top-tier as well. Get yourself down and soak it all in!

Barrio Shoreditch

Probably the most colourful beer garden in Shoreditch, in fact, definitely the most colourful, Barrio is the place to go for all things Latin inspired, with the space being a vibrant neighbourhood bar that serves up incredible tacos, bottomless brunches, and great cocktails; all whilst getting your tan on in the beer garden.

With a smattering of incredible events on too, from DJs to bottomless brunches, there's always something going on here, and the vibes are always immaculate.

The Crown and Shuttle

An award-winning craft beer pub and Indie bar with exposed brick and junkyard decor, craft beers & more, The Crown and Shuttle is a proper East London boozer. Juju’s Bar & Stage is a warehouse bar and events space located in East London’s creative capital, the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. With creative Latin-inspired cocktails and a vibrant menu of Hispanic favourites, the Queen of Hoxton's legendary rooftop will be decked out with all the colours of summer, and be a go-to spot for you and your pals this year. Truly one of the best beer gardens in Shoreditch.

Red Lion

This traditional pub with long-standing reign in Shoreditch goes back to before what the area is today, the Red Lion is a stalwart that serves great booze, and some of the best pizzas in London. However, its hidden gem is undoubtedly its rooftop beer garden.

Unpretentious and unassuming, it's the perfect spot for you and your pals to just grab some drinks in the sun amidst the sprawl without having to glam up or spend loads of money. Highly recommended.
