Boombox Circus 'Festival Freakout'

When: Saturday 30th September 2023

Where: Beaver Works in Leeds

One of the biggest, best, and most popular student clubs in Leeds is going off with a seriously heavy lineup multi-genre lineup, ensuring there’s certain to be something to keep you and all your mates buzzing.

Running from 10pm up to 5am, this one promises all the bells and whistles: banging, diverse tunes, loads of decor to set the moos, circus performers, magicians, daring fire breathers, fairground rides, art installations, and much more.

Just a few of the heavyweights on the lineup for this one include Skeptical, Breakage, Addison Groove, Jenks, Mix-Stress, Mattik, Cesco, MC Strategy, Jordan Peak, Drinks On Me, DJ SS, and so, so many more.

Freshers Leeds Opening Party: Sigma

Where: The Warehouse in Leeds

One of the best underground clubs in Leeds, which also happens to be super popular with students, is throwing a massive freshers party with DnB heavyweights Sigma. Joining the duo who penned tracks like City Lights, Changing, and Nobody To Love is Krakota and Ryan Arnold.

Head over to this rave to enjoy some filthy basslines with over 1,000 other partiers, underground vibes, two rooms of tunes, and incredible lighting and visuals. It’s definitely going to be one of the best Leeds freshers events this year.

Beaver Works Freshers Opening Party: Triple Cooked

When: Monday 25th September 2023

Where: Beaver Works in Leeds

Another one of the best clubs in Leeds invites you to enjoy multiple rooms of house, drum and bass, techno, disco, and tech house with 2,500 other ravers.

Always going above and beyond, Beaver Works has promised insane decor, fairground rides, food traders, live performers, and tunes across three of its four rooms with stages presented by Triple Cooked, Visualize, and DAZED.

Why only three rooms? Well, room four is the Garden of Eden, a covered outdoor garden where you can find all the rides, food, and a magician.

SAM DIVINE FRESHERS @ THE 02 ACADEMY LEEDS

When: Sunday 24th September 2023

Where: O2 Academy in Leeds

House veteran Sam Divine, of the local Sersa Records as well as Defected, comes to O2 Academy with Mason Talbot, Emma Forster, Joe Lee, and Beccs Vernon in the main room. In the basement, there’s Aderfia, Power B2B VF, Callum Blackburn, Matt Ransford, and Elliot Jordan B2B Harry.

Following her residency at Eden in Ibiza, Divine brings her energy back to Leeds for one of the best Leeds freshers week bashes. Last entry’s at 1am, and tunes range from house, tech house, techno, and more.

PROJEKT - Freshers season opening party - PT 2 at O2 Academy

Where: O2 Academy in Leeds

Projekt is the North’s biggest weekly club night dedicated to house music with both established and emerging DJs. Boasting beefy sound systems, incredible production and visuals, performers, CO2 and confetti cannons, and loads of ravers, there’s two rooms, one for dance and the other for R&B and hip-hop.

Fresher Fest Leeds | Take a Little Trip! | 10 Hour Fresher Fest!

When: Friday 22nd September 2023

Where: Beaver Works in Leeds

If all these Leeds freshers events seem like light work, why not dive straight into a ten-hour indoor and outdoor rave? With some massive names on the lineup like Schak, Teedee, and Murphy’s Law, this one boasts one of the strongest freshers lineups in the country, never mind Leeds.

There’s music across four arenas and the outdoor terrace, taking you from 6pm to 4am, as well as a funfair and a food market. Bosh.
