Manchester freshers week is here! Now we’ve all moved in and settled down a bit, we reckon it’s time to see what Manchester freshers events are going down.

An absolutely buzzing small clubbing venue, any bash at XLR is incredible. This one sees Off-License Records take over the club with the sounds of garage, breaks, and jungle.
Brought to you by some incredibly fine selectors including Napes, Prosek B2B Binx, Lokal, Rafiki Dubs, and hosted by Freddy B, this one’s cheap and guarantees some banging tunes.

Where: Kable Club in Manchester
With low ceilings, LED lighting, and a beefy Funktion-One Sound System, Kable Club is a dream. D&B Awards’ 2021’s best breakthrough artist MC, Haribo, hosts this one that boasts some belting DnB and bass music DJs. There's Kyber, Kobah, Ezair, Upgrade, and Trobe.
A lineup packed with talent that has performed at The Warehouse Project, worked with Worried about Henry, supported huge names like Disrupta, and whose music has received praise from huge names like DJ Hazard and Nicky Blackmarket, you're in safe hands with this lot.

If big fat wobbly basslines aren’t your thing, maybe belting Dancing Queen at the top of your lungs is.
This one boasts all the ABBA bangers along with confetti drops, inflatable giveaways, dance-offs, and awards for the best dressed over at one of Manchester’s busiest clubbing areas, Deansgate Locks.

One of Manchester’s best clubs invites you to see what all the fuss is about with a massive freshers opening party.
Hidden, with its simple, stripped-back aesthetic is one of the city’s favourite spaces for mad nights out and catching the best DJing talents.
Expect house, techno, and UKG across multiple rooms, with tunes spun by the best student talent. Tickets are cheap and drinks are even cheaper - Manchester freshers week doesn’t get much better than this.

One of Manchester’s best student clubs welcomes all you indie kids with pennies in your bank account to sing along to Mr Brightside like your life depends on it.
Indie and rock-focused, 42s brings some of the best Manchester freshers events for those who truly are skint with £1 Bakewell bombs and shots from £1. And if you ask politely, the DJ is often happy to play your requests too.
A smaller venue with banger after banger and a super affordable night out, it’s a no-brainer.
