Everyone's favourite holiday’s nearly here! It’s time to start thinking about the scary movies you’ll be watching, what costume you’ll be wearing, and, more importantly, where you’ll be headed for the weekend.
Glaswegians are in luck as there are so many unreal Halloween events going down this year. There are late-night raves, family Halloween experiences, Rocky Horror Show-inspired events, and more.
Here are the best Halloween events in Glasgow to get you dancing, singing, or peering through the gaps between your fingers.

Where: Green Car Park Silverburn in Glasgow
Returning for its fourth year, Spooktacular is back to give us a good scare. Fun for all the family, there’ll be a range of thrilling rides including waltzers, a ghost train, a Ferris wheel, and more. With 33 sessions, it’s easy to fit into any schedule. They have 5pm until 9pm sessions, with some 12pm until 4pm sessions, depending on the day.
NRG 004 - Halloween w/ Fantasm, Vendex + more

Where: SWG3 in Glasgow
NRG, PRTY, and Reboot are joining forces for one of the biggest Glasgow Halloween parties this year. If you love hard techno, this one just makes sense. Bringing Fantasm, Vendex, Fionn Curran, Cloudy, Datsko, The Muffin Man, DKEN, and more to SWG3, this one will be pure sweat, pure energy, and seriously heavy.

Raver Babies - All Age Family Rave - HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR
When: Saturday 26th October 2024
Where: Fairfield Club Govan in Glasgow
Tickets for this all-ages family rave are running low. And when you hear about what they have on offer, you’ll see why. Boasting DJs, bubbles, free sweets, Halloween inflatables, a Halloween mascot, a face painter, and a licensed bar for the adults, it might be the best of all Glasgow Halloween events for families this year.

CFST Prsnts David Rust, Symmetrik, Luvstruck & KIMMIC
When: Friday 1st November 2024
Where: Platform in Glasgow
Just after Halloween, Scottish-born David Rust comes in with his Platform debut, joined by Irish duo Symmetrik, Luvstruck, and very special guests KIMMIC, presented by Coloursfest. This hard dance party kicks off at 9pm and runs until 2am, seeing sets from some of the best-loved names on the scene.

GBX is celebrating three decades shortly after the spookiest night of the year, bringing old skool and hard dance sounds to SWG3. Cascada, Georgie Bowie, QFX, Christina Novelli, David Forbes, OSHY with a Mallorca Lee tribute set, and more will be performing from 6pm until 3am.

Soul On Sunday Halloween Day Time Event
When: Sunday 27th October 2024
Where: Barras Art And Design (BAaD) in Glasgow
Soul On Sunday is coming through with a Halloween special, bringing the sounds of soul, soulful house, Motown, R&B, hip-hop, and disco to this daytime party. Robert Macintosh will be performing, fancy dress is optional, and it’s all going to be about celebrating in style with great people.

It seems Glasgow loves family raves as this Halloween has plenty! Going all out, this bash will feature fun over two floors, with the rave in the main hall featuring games, party DJs, and face painting. The second room is a little quieter with fun for younger raves like the bouncy castle, ball swamp, soft play, and seating area. Offering free cakes, confetti canons, bubbles, prizes for best fancy dress, a tuck shop, a licensed bar for the grown-ups and so much more, it’ll be ace.

Ghoulty Pleasures - Halloween feat. Jon Mancini & Michael Kilkie
When: Friday 25th October 2024
Where: Radisson Red in Glasgow
Guilty Pleasures brings 80s, 90s, soul, pop, disco, rock, indie, and more to the RED Sky Bar with this Halloween special, Ghoulty Pleasures. Running from 7pm until 1am, DJs Jon Mancini and Michel Kilkie are on hand to give you six hours of pure tunes. So stick on your best costume, grab your Patrón welcome drink, and hit the dancefloor!

Groove Theory (107) - 90s/00s R&B Soul Hip Hop Party
When: Saturday 26th October 2024
Where: Corinthian Club in Glasgow
Groove Theory invites you to step back in time to the golden era of R&B, soul, hip-hop, and dancehall on the Saturday before Halloween. To be more specific, the music policy is all things old-school, covering 90s and 00s classics. They’re also handing out a prize for the best old-school look.

TMP brings some of the heaviest techno acts to SWG3 on the night after Halloween. Raging on from 11pm until 3am, for this one, they've enlisted TLO, Nyctonian, Karah, and Ben Techy to hop on the decks and give us some carnage. Dress to sweat.

Melting Pot Halloween - One Night At The Museum - 02.11.24
When: Saturday 2nd November 2024
Where: Riverside Museum in Glasgow
Melting Pot’s Halloween part returns with house, disco, disco house, and electronic, including retro and throwback tunes. Hosted at Riverside Museum, the annual spooky rave allows punters to rave on the oldest street in Glasgow amongst vintage museum vehicles and subway stations. Taking it up a notch with stilt walkers, performers, and drag vampires, we’re jealous of anyone with a ticket.

If you want to dance the night away to some Latin beats, you might want to head over to The Classic Grand on the Saturday after Halloween. For one night only, London and Ibiza club night Clockwork Orange hits up Glasgow for a big Halloween party. Bringing Slipmatt, Utah Saints, K-Klass, and more to SWG3, the legendary brand was born in 1993, becoming known for its old-school vibe that ravers fell in love with. Glasgow's hard techno fans really are spoilt for choice this year. Outtek brings a night of thumping hard techno to Aurio, with tickets available for just £20. The Rocky Horror Picture Show Halloween Scream

Where: Websters Theatre in Glasgow
The Rocky Horror Picture Show is easily one of the best movies to break out at Halloween. It’s definitely our favourite. Over at Websters Theatre, they’ll be screening the cult classic, hosted by Glasgow showboy Tom Harlow. Expect all the singalongs!

Let's Do the Timewarp Again - Halloween Tribute Show!
When: Saturday 2nd November 2024
Where: ARTA in Glasgow
Another Rocky Horror event! This one’s a Rocky Horror-inspired tribute show, which features the show, of course, but also a two-course meal and a glass of fizz. Optimo Halloween - Espookio made us do it
When: Friday 1st November 2024
Where: Riverside Museum in Glasgow
One of the hottest nights in the clubbing calendar for over a decade at the Sub Club, Espookio’s residency eventually ended. After a 14-year hiatus, Optimo’s Espookio returns! JD Twitch and JG Wilkes just had to bring it back, this time taking it to Riverside Museum. Head over to the oldest street in Glasgow for house, techno, electronic, electro, and experimental sounds from 7pm until 12am.

Disco Days Vs Dance Days Glasgow
When: Saturday 2nd November 2024
Where: Club Tropicana And Venga in Glasgow
For those over 30 who feel a bit weird dancing beside teenagers, you might fancy this. Doing “clubbing like it used to be,” this party for over 30s sees the best of the 70s and 80s music in Tropicana, and the best of the 90s and 00s in Venga, providing attendees with the chance to relive their youth and dance all day. Kicking off at 2:30pm and wrapping up at 7:30pm, you’ll have plenty of time to sleep off that hangover.

Berlin DJ Stella Bossi headlines SWG3’s TV Studio, bringing techno and electronic flavours to the club with a capacity for 1,000 music enthusiasts. Growing up in a city renowned for its techno heritage, Bossi dived into the underground, eventually becoming the artist she is today with almost 10 million combined streams across platforms. She’s perhaps best known for her track ‘Poetry - Edit’ with Auk. With concrete pillars and exposed brickwork, TV Studio might be the best Glasgow venue for Bossi to headline.

Sunday Session Halloween Special

Where: Revolution Mitchell Street in Glasgow

Dates-n-Mates is a registered charity supporting adults with learning disabilities in Scotland who want to find love and friendship. Their Halloween party sees DJ Christeen providing tunes all night, while the Games Master brings the laughs with thrilling challenges.
