Date published: 7th Jan 2025

As we kick off the new year, we’ve got plenty to look forward to: gigs, clubs, festivals, and loads more new music. This week, we’re looking at some of what the year will offer, including bands to look out for but now, we're looking at new DJs in 2025.

We’ve gathered some up-and-coming DJs we’re certain will reach new heights this year, plus some who have been killing it but deserve more love. Whether you’re looking for DJs with the wildest energy, ones who play a bit of everything, or DJs dedicated to their distinctive vibe, we’re certain you’ll find one or two here you'll look forward to seeing behind the decks.

Ghoulish

ghoulish

Mancunian multi-genre DJ and producer Ghoulish has a bright 2025 ahead of him. With releases on labels including Skream's IFEEL and Warehouse Project Productions, fresh off supporting Disclosure at The Warehouse Project, and his first-ever residency at YES Manchester in January 2024 under his belt, he’s been a busy guy. And we’re certain he’ll be even busier this year.

Ghoulish incorporates a mixed bag of sounds into his productions and sets including UKG, house, funky, dubstep, bass, breaks, and grime. Check out his set with Skream at YES Manchester from last year, or our interview with Ghoulish

Amelia Leigh

amelia-leigh

From Manchester, now based in Newcastle, Amelia Leigh is certainly one of the up-and-coming DJs in 2025 to keep an eye on. Operating in UKG, DnB, and everything in between, the producer and DJ is a resident of Big Fat Rave and Gasworks, and has supported Mandidextrous, Sammy Virji, Oppidan, Badger, and more.

If multi-genre sets that focus on bouncy basslines, breaky rhythms, and unwavering energy are your vibe, get down to an Amelia Leigh set.

DJ Kwamē

kwame-1

France’s DJ Kwamē plays trance, hard trance, Eurodance, and the occasional splash of hard techno sounds at parties by the likes of Teletech. His Boiler Room set with him blasting through an hour of the highest-energy bangers, in our opinion, deserves far more attention.

Born to get the rave sweaty, jumping, and grinning from ear to ear, DJ Kwamē is certainly one of the new DJs in 2025 to watch if you love trancey, Eurodancey sounds packed with explosive spirit.

Konetix

konetix

A stand-out in London’s DnB scene, Konetix isn’t a name to ignore when checking out a lineup. He played Boomtown, Breakin Science’s Amsterdam Weekender, and a handful of other respected DnB festivals last year, and dropped a few bangers in between.

Collaborating with Ragga Twins, Harry Shotta, Skibadee, DRS, Ben Snow, Mr Traumatik - their track ‘Kraken’ hit over 11 million Spotify streams - and more across his career, he’s more than proved his production prowess to back up his DJing.

After a few years of graft paired with his DJing and production skills, we reckon 2025 has a lot on the cards for Konetix.

Princess Elf Bar

Princess-Elf-Bar

Creeping her way up Teletech lineups, Leeds’ Princess Elf Bar is stealing the hearts of dancefloor addicts with her brand of trance that incorporates hard dance. Tearing it up at venues in Manchester and Leeds like TESTBEDThe Warehouse Project, The Old Red Bus Station, XLR, and more in 2024, she’s performed alongside some big names including sim0ne and Faster Horses

Now, with her euphoric, bouncy sound out there, she’s sure to continue climbing higher on event lineups, getting the recognition she deserves.

EJ Kitto

ej-kitto

After using lockdown to hyper-focus on learning DJing and production skills, EJ Kitto debuted in the DnB scene shortly after.

The DJ, producer, and vocalist had a cracking 2024. She performed at her favourite UK venue, The Warehouse Project, with DnB Allstars, toured New Zealand, and released her belter ‘Scandalous.

With releases on Playaz, V Recordings, Born On Road, and DnB Allstars, and plenty of support from the DJs in the scene, 2025 will be the year of EJ Kitto.

Black Fancy

Black-Fancy-2025

Italian underground house and tech house talent Black Fancy has been on the scene since 2017 but started getting some serious traction over the past few years.

Last year, he supported The Martinez Brothers at Hi Ibiza and released his Obrigado EP on their Cuttin’ Headz label. Gaining support from the likes of Jamie Jones and Marco Carola, after years of graft, we think 2025 will be the year he takes off in the UK.

Club Angel

club-angel

Adoring dance music since he was a kid, Club Angel had no choice but to start producing until he was old enough to get into clubs. Now, the Sydney-based producer and DJ is the one soundtracking those club nights with the essence of early 00s dance music, particularly the moodier sides of UKG, speed garage, and jungle.

Club Angel gets lots of love from Australia but we can't wait to see more of him in the UK following last year's performances at the likes of Sneaky Pete's, YES, and Lakota.

Niteplan

niteplan

Another one tipped for greatness by Skream, Niteplan focuses on house and garage sounds to create his productions. Prioritising groove and soul while ensuring a track is ready for the dancefloor, his sound took him across the UK and Europe, tearing up clubs and festivals in 2024.

Going from strength to strength over the past few years, hitting stages at Space and Eden Ibiza, We Are FSTVL, ABODE Malta, Forbidden Forest, and more, expect to see and hear plenty more from him this year.

Cloudy

cloudy

Spinning thunderous tunes with kick drums punchy enough to make you feel like you're being thumped in the chest, we can see Teletech resident Cloudy taking over the hard techno scene in 2025. She’s blown up recently but we feel she deserves more love.

The Cologne-based DJ has been on the scene for a minute, but 2024 saw her take it up a level with sold-out all-night-long sets, a B2B with Kuku at WHP’s XXL event, a Boiler Room set, and god knows how many festival performances across the globe. Electric and energetic when she’s behind the decks, expect the whole room to jump with you from start to finish.
