Proudly coronated as the UK’s LGBTQ+ capital, where do you even start with Brighton? The South Coast paradise has plenty of tricks up its sleeve, from pierside parties to cool hidden gems scattered across the promenade.
Brighton and Hove have been a safe space for the community for as long as we can remember, having recorded LGBTQ+ since the 19th century. Kemptown, which could make a claim to being one of the most iconic gay districts in the UK, houses lots of bars, clubs and parties to sink your teeth into. Make sure to get down there for August as well, as Brighton Pride is the largest in the UK.

It would be a shame if a city famed for its rave and art scene didn't have a booming LGBTQ+ presence. The super queer and politcally charged Misscoteque, The UK's first queer drum and bass rave Unorthodox and record label BDE are just some of the movements popping off in Bristol, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Move north of the border for some more prideful festivities in Glasgow. Across the banks of the Clyde and Kelvin contain colourful characters and events. Aside from Sasha Corby swinging by Slay in September, you've got Pride Glasgow - Scotland's largest LGBTQ+ festival - in addition to the queer club night SHOOT YOUR SHOT giving a taste of what to expect. The Scots know how to put on a good time so don't miss the chance to relish Pride in Glasgow while you can.
