Think Tank set in stone their plans for Volume 3 at popular Liverpool jaunt Kazimier, bringing together a solid showing of hip hop artists to the table for yet another funky fresh jam to take it's pumped up revellers into the new year.
If Blackalicious aren't something to get excited about then we don't quite know what is, they'll bring their concoction of razor sharp rhymes and under your skin beats that brought the game changing 'Alphabetic Aerobics', so make sure you get some practice in, like Daniel Radcliffe below.
During their career spanning an incredible two decades, Blackalicious have remained at the forefront of the genre staying true to their unadulterated hip hop sound likening them to the likes of the formidable west coast collectives Pharcyde and Jurassic 5.
Solidifying the one of a kind hip hop experience is UK luminary DJ Format. He also boasts connections to Jurassic 5, having had a hand in their nineties UK tour as a bus driver.
Today, he's instantly recognisable for his distinct sound, carved out from instilling elements of jazz, blues and electro and other influences into hip hop.
He's amassed multiple albums from this uniqueness including his latest long player Statement of Intent featuring collaborations with Edan, Mr Lif and Phill Most Chill, a far cry from his bus driving days, and a guaranteed hook for hip hop fanatics residing in Merseyside and beyond.
