Taking place across a range of venues in The Baltic Triangle including The Camp and Furnace, The Picket and Elevator Bar, Threshold Festival returns to the city for its third year running, with an ever eclectic line-up of over 180 performers and artists.
From music to film and visual art to workshops and activities, Threshold Festival is a colourful celebration of imagination and creativity in one of the UK's most culturally minded cities.
The main stages at The Camp and Furnace will play host to a blend of established artists and newcomers including Esco Williams, John Fairhurst, Beans on Toast, Alright the Captain, Johnny Panic & the Fever, The Mono Lps and We The Undersigned.
The festival will also feature special collaborations, such as Graham Massey (808 State)'s performance with Paddy Steer's purpose built 'Three Pronged Audio Bath' on Saturday in the Blade Factory.
For the third year running, Threshold's rogue arty cohorts The Roost will return to the festival, bringing along their usual display of art-rock electro and irreverent, provocative installations in the vast Gold Room deep within Camp and Furnace.
After-parties include a big treat from Milk Presents on Friday, and on Saturday a massive Drum N Bass/Dubstep shakedown programmed by Sleep Less Records, led by Liverpool club scene veteran MC SAS with a headline set from Kumarachi. In the Waxxx run Haus venue there will be some hip goings on as well as the Stankh Jam & Disco party in Camp & Furnace with Yum Yum DJs, Mike Zar, Detuned Radio, CMWMSMDM vs Kid Blast and Monkey DJ.
The Threshold line-up is extensive, eclectic and colourful - and it's all yours for just £20.
