With K-Klass performing live for the first time in nearly eighteen years, we have thrown them some Throwback Thursday love.

It's that time of the week again, when the sepia tinted glasses coming out and we take a big dip into that box called nostalgia and look back at the past. This time it's all about a band who are playing together for the first time in 17 years as a 'proper live' band once more, acid house heroes K-Klass.
The G-Mex in Manchester was the last place K-Kass the band performed in 1996, and in 2013 they will be reuniting at Bowlers once again in Manchester, to announce their return to the full live realm. One of the original icons of the early onset of electronic music, K-Klass released two albums in the nineties, Universal and K2, perhaps remembered best for their huge track 'Rhythm is a Mystery' that reached Number 3 in the UK Singles chart with it's immortal refrain: "Move your body to the rhythm of love".
They would also secure a further chart hit with 'Let me Show you', the video of them appearing on Top of the Pops you can see below. Not only is the track a classic of its time, piano drenched house music complete with diva vocals and neat acid touches, but the video is a glorious snippet back into time as well. Hairstyles were pretty dire in 1993 clearly, luckily the music still holds up greatly.
Bowlers' event always manage to capture the zeitgeist of the time perfectly too, and we're sure this won't be any different with Rob Tissera, Stu Allan and Brandon Block among the performers. Head here for a more detailed description on the event.
