Sambarbeta Records are bringing Sonic Youth founder and grunge hero Thurston Moore to Salford's Islington Mill in collaboration with London-poet Radieux Radio as part of a brand new residency project entitled Watch The Sky. Having successfully worked with each other before, within an artwork project in Paris, Moore and Radio bring their unique and arty vibes to the musically-famed city.

Watch The Sky examines the sounds of a city, using recordings and art, Moore and his collaborators will produce a 7" vinyl of the project - which will include songs, obscure notes as well as original art. This residency is the first of many - although each one will be unique, with a different collaborator for each event. With Moore's extensive list of friends, which includes classic and iconic rock musicians as well as renowned and celebrated artists, these upcoming residency events promise to be a special affair.
