Set against the picturesque backdrop of Warwick Castle, comes this brand new 3-day open-air comedy festival, aptly named 'Comedy at the Castle.' Steeped in history and grandeur, the Castle will play host to some of the biggest names in the world of comedy, all of who will have your funny bone tickled like never before.

Not only that but alongside the funny festivities will be a sprawling selection of street food offerings that will tantalize your taste buds and satisfy any cravings. From mouthwatering delicacies to irresistible treats, the festival promises a culinary journey that will complement the comedy experience perfectly.

Coming to Warwick on the 14-16th September 2023 will be the likes of Troy Hawke, Milton Jones, Dylan Moran, Shappi Khorsandi, Rhys James, Paul Sinha and over 12 more acts will be supplying the punchlines across the three evenings. With tickets now on sale on Skiddle.

The event, organised by Midlands-based comedy promoters Closeup Comedy, Digbeth Dining Club and Warwick Castle, will showcase an array of award-winning street food, a selection of cocktails, craft beer and fizz bars and host DJs from 6pm each evening, with the comedy beginning at 8pm.

Thursday night will see the online sensation Troy Hawke, of the Greeters Guild, fresh from a sell-out tour of Europe open up the evening, followed by Mock the Weeks Rhys James, Radio 4 and Have I Got News For You’s Hal Cruttenden, Alex Kealy, who hosts a podcast with Ivo Graham, and finally one of the biggest names in comedy: Shappi Khorsandi who will headline the night.

Friday night sees The Chase’s Paul Sinha open up proceedings, followed by the multi-award-winning comedian Garrett Millerick and star of Live at the Apollo Sarah Keyworth. Friday night will then be closed by none other than Dylan Moran. The BAFTA award-winning comedian, star of Shaun of the Dead, Run Fatboy Run and Black Books, and Perrier Award-winning comedian who French newspaper Le Monde dubbed as “The greatest comedian ever. Dead or alive.”. Dylan Moran is a world-touring sensation, widely regarded as one of the greatest comedians ever.

And the Saturday of the festival will see Radio 4’s Zoe Lyons opening up the show. Zoe Lyons is also a regular on Mock the Week, QI and Dave’s One Night Stand. Scott Bennet will also be performing, off the back of a sell-out UK tour and supporting the likes of Rob Brydon on his own tour. Circuit legend, star of Netflix’s Sex Education and Micky Flanagan’s tour support Eshaan Askbar will then be followed by the Saturday night headliner: Milton Jones. Milton Jones is a regular headliner on the world comedy scene and is often cited as one of the most clever comedians in the UK.

This one is set up to be an absolute doozy, and with a lineup as stacked as this, Comedy enthusiasts would be silly not to secure a ticket as soon as possible. Tickets for each day cost £25, and can be found at the bottom of this page!
