Some bonzer ticket news for the electronic music fiends of you out there... Saturday 15th February's edition of Chibuku Shake Shake is now on sale. The Liverpool clubnight, once again at the East Village Arts Club, has been at the pinnacle of acid house exploration since the turn of the century. As a prelude to their celebrations of fourteen years of bringing the rave ruckus in March, they've got another big event lined up, helmed by none other than Hudson Mohawke.

The Glaswegian beatsmith has become one of the most celebrated figures in alternative music, with his club workouts finding a home on legendary label Warp and mainstays in the sets of DJs as diverse as Gilles Peterson, Skream, Rustie, Flying Lotus and Laurent Garnier, either on his own standing or as one half of TNGHT alongside Lunice.

Beyond the standard dancefloor however his sound has famously caught the ear of hip-hop behemoth Kanye West, who has signed HudMo to his label G.O.O.D Music and used his beats on the astonishing Yeezus. And his previous includes being one of the youngest ever finallists in the UK DMC Championship; watch him above get busy in the Boiler Room on the hip hop tip for further proof of his credentials.

He'll be backed up by a typically strong ensemble of DJs. Jackmaster also represents on the electronic explosion tip, his rough and ready rhythms the perfect compliment to Mohawke's swaggering sonics. DJ Zinc's cross pollination of all things bass will also make an long awaited appearance.

There's also a debut for the bleeps and bass of Paul Woolford's pseudonym Special Request, the producer riding high off his recent Soul Music LP on Houndstooth, the imprint of legendary club Fabric ('Soundboy Killer' above gives a sneak preview into the warehouse vibes present on the opus).

R&S lynchpin Tesslea also appears, as does Friend Within, alongside Chibuku and Abandon Silence players Rich Furness and Harry Sheehan. All listing info can be found at this link.
