Circus heads to East Village Arts Club once more with Steve Lawler and VIVa Warriors in tow; read all about it here.

After a grandstand entrance into 2014 with their first ever New Year's Day party, Yousef present Circus readies itself for the year ahead with the first monthly installment of arguably the best house music bash in the UK. Once again the East Village Arts Club will bear witness to four to the floor beats reverberating at seismic speeds, as Yousef ushers in Steve Lawler and his VIVa Warriors stable.
Lawler's VIVa Music has been one of the leading imprints in house music in recent times, charging forward for provocative grooves and forward thinking beats in an era where electronic music isn't always infused with integrity. The label spawned a hugely successful series of events culminating in the Ibiza party at Sankeys which took the name and ethos of Warriors, where Lawler has continued his reverential near diety status on the island.
As a DJ he remains one of the world's best, playing across the globe with avowed alacrity at the premier dancefloors and discotheques mustered on the planet. Repping VIVa with him will be his right hand man in groove Darius Syrossian (check his mix for Sankeys above for a hint of what to expect) and Greek producer Detlef playing live.
Of course Yousef will also be in full effect, taking centre stage to kick start his 2014 in Liverpool with devastating effect. He's already hinted that the year will see him focus on the underground side of his aesthetic, announcing news of productions on Objektivity and Desolat, the respective imprints of Dennis Ferrer and Loco Dice, two key guests for Circus in London and Liverpool during the clubnight's heady December.
Ferrer will be making his way to Liverpool this time round, bringing his gospel tinged fusion of house and techno to the city for a long awaited appearance, his futuristic soul sound epitomised by tracks like 'Hey, Hey' (watch the video to that above). As ever support comes from Circus mainstay residents Lewis Boardman and Scott Lewis, with all further listing info found here.
Already thinking about 2014 Festivals? We can't help it either. Stay on point with all the developments in that realm in our special section right here.
