Kaiser Chiefs will exhibit an electric headline show at Scarborough's Open Air Theatre later this year. The Yorkshire gig takes place on Saturday 27th May, with Ricky Wilson's collective bringing an immense back catalogue to Europe's largest open air theatre.
Last year the group released their sixth studio album, signaling a more dance orientated direction with the likes of 'Parachute' and 'Hole In My Soul' sounding a world away from the group's 2005 debut Employment.
The group are a powerhouse live outfit who have conquered just about every stage worth mentioning in their career, and this show will be another on-stage venture to tick off the list.
Wilson, unsurprisingly, is looking forward to the date: “As everyone knows we are proud Yorkshire lads and so we can’t wait to head to the beautiful Scarborough seaside for what we know is going to be an amazing gig.
“There is something truly special about playing in front of a Yorkshire crowd. We know the crowd and the setting of the Open Air Theatre will make for a brilliant atmosphere and a real night to remember.”
