As one of the most established and down right revered nights in the North of England, Hau5 has been responsible for plying the discerning rave aficionados of the north with the finest selections of artists and DJs specializing in house and electro.
The 20th of September sees the Middlesbrough clubbing giants welcome a whole heap of big names in the world of electronic music, with everything from stadium drum n bass to Chicago house appearing on the roster.
In amongst the endless array of pyrotechnics, special effects and high end production will be the fearsome drum n bass doubleteam Chase & Status (relive their live performance at Radio One's hackney Weekend above), whose brand of powerful beats, brutal bass and melodious pop hooks continues to be one of the most sought after in the scene.
Fellow drum n bass beasts Sigma and the genre defying sounds of Sub Focus join in on the action too, ensuring the bass fiends out there are well and truly catered for, whilst Canadian duo DVBBS bring some of that much loved North American big room house sound into the equation as well.
Tribal Sessions stalwart Darius Syrossian will be on hand to unleash some of his purebred dancefloor vibes, with self-proclaimed house gangster DJ Sneakalso on hand to showcase his authentic take on amped up house, which is exactly what he does in his Mixmag set below.
Danish master of smooth, silky house Finnebassen also hits the Courtyard at The Metro Arena, with German deep house impresario Robin Schulz rounding off the sweltering line up. Bag your hau5 Festival tickets here.
