As one of the true legends of rock, Lemmy and his band of heavy metal overlords Motörhead have enjoyed a stellar career that has seen them release 21 studio albums, 10 live recordings, 12 compilations and 5 EPs, as their 'fast and vicious' sound continues to cement their place in the pantheon of all time rock legends.
The at times controversial, speed metal pioneers, whose back catalogue boasts scene defining records like 'Overkill', 'Bomber', and the timeless 'Ace Of Spades' have since the mid seventies been at the fore of heavy metal innovation, whilst their continued presence on the world's largest stages has seen them put in star turns at festivals like British Summer Time and Coachella this year alone, in between rocking gigs everywhere from Belarus to Italy, via Mexico and The Netherlands. Check out their classic Stage Fright gig from back in 2005 above.
The tireless trio of Ian 'Lemmy' Kilmister, Phil 'Wizzö' Campbell, and Mikkey Dee embark on a nationwide tour at the beginning of November, hitting up Manchester's o2 Apollo, Birmingham's NIA and London's Wembley Arena, bringing their world-weary, dark and devastating sound to adoring metal hordes across the UK.
