Tiga's upcoming third LP will be his first solo album since Ciao back in 2009. Upon putting pen to paper he said: “It's a natural fit - I'm the original Counter. I count results. Advantage: Tiga City.”
The celebrated DJ now joins a long list of artists signed to Counter including French DJ, Fakear, singer-songwriter Andreya Triana and indie soul-rock group, The Heavy. Tiga has released his first single titled ‘Don’t Break My Heart’ (above) which is co-produced by Footprintz's Clarain North and will be featured on his upcoming third LP. He added more about the album in this statement.
“Seven years is a lifetime, especially for lifetime full-time dreamers like me. Entire fantasy worlds have been loved and lost. Restaurants have opened and closed. I’ve taken the spiritual advice of those closest to me and chosen to remain inside the present, listening and growing until there’s no choice to spring out of the box and share my gift’.
Tiga will be performing in Barcelona’s own Razzmatazz club this coming Friday as well as KOKO in London on the 21st of this month.
