Tim Burgess joins Liverpool Sound City line up

Legendary Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess is the latest to join the Sound City line up, playing alongside the band’s guitarist Mark Collins for a special performance at the Tim Peaks Diner on the Sunday at the festival (watch our interview with Tim, from Independent Venue Week, below).

Their not the only additions, with over 40 new acts joining the bill including indie dance tyros Formation, Mancunian troubadours Cupids, self-proclaimed ‘heavy pop’ band Estrons, alt-rock 3 piece Yak, and many more - see the full Liverpool Sound City line up.

The festival has previously announced Metronomy, The Kooks, Peaches and the Cribs, the latter performing their classic LP Men’s Needs, Woman’s Needs, Whatever. As well as the festival, Sound City also has a separate conference entitled Sound City + - an event we will be speaking at.
