Beats In Space is a late night radio show, mixed live by Tim Sweeney and guests in New York City on WNYU 89.1 FM every Tuesday night. The show began in 1999, and has not missed a week since then.
Over the course of a decade, Tim has built Beats in Space into an iconic brand and, in turn, become one of NYC's most sought-after DJs.
The show, which has always aimed for a genre-breaking format that mixes up the best in dame music from all styles, eras and countries, quickly attracted a strong international following - with high-profile guests lining up to appear on the show. Guest artists who've joined Tim on the show to date range from avant-techno stylists Carl Craig and Superpitcher, to Australian turntablists the Avalanches, to Nordic disco producers Lindstrom and Prins Thomas.
Tim Sweeney now finds himself jetting all over the world for DJ gigs, and on December 1st he'll appear at Manchester's 2022nq.
This is a rare chance to experience the Beats in Space sound - which many will be familiar with over the airwaves - in a live setting. Tickets are just £6 advance, available below.
