News just in from the stunning Adriatic shores... Electric Elephant have just announced two brand new headliners. These come in the shape of two of the most alluring duos of electronic music, with one half of one, Groove Armada, the brilliant Tom Findlay joined by Simian Mobile Disco, all playing DJ sets.
Groove Armada may be known by many for their chart topping prowess, but their musical roots run deep. First coming to prominence on Tummy Touch, the label of disco deviant Tim 'Love Lee', their grooves soaked up classic disco, house and early hip hop era electro, as evidenced on the sampler celebrating the 15 year anniversary of the first GA album Northern Star above.
Findlay's crate digging panache makes him the perfect artist to saddle up on the Tisno decks, a charge that can also be leveled at Simian Mobile Disco, who will bring their funk tinged electronica to Tisno for the first time. They join the a bulging collection of liver performers and DJs, that number names such as Good Times founder Norman Jay, celebrated beat master Motor City Drum Ensemble, Panorama Bar resident Prosumer and the intriguing Awesome Tapes From Africa.
