Tonight: Channel 4 Dispatches Exposes 'Fan to Fan' Ticket Exchanges

In tonight's Dispatches, Channel Four investigates the ways in which 'fan to fan' ticket exchange websites are pushing up prices for customers.

The programme exposes the ways in which secondary ticket outlets and touts are preventing real fans from purchasing tickets, and forcing up prices for 'sold out' events to sometimes astronomical levels.

This is why at Skiddle, we work hard to keep prices as low as possible for the public, and are always developing new ways to combat touts.

We do this in the following ways:

  • All our tickets are sold directly to the general public, and we NEVER sell tickets to secondary outlets.
  • We keep our booking and handling fees as low as possible, and are consistently the cheapest outlet on the internet.
  • Wherever possible, we don't charge a handling fee for eTickets.
  • We are developing new technology to reduce shipping fees, such as our cutting edge RapidScan barcoded ticketing system.
  • We have also developed a Loyalty Ticket scheme, allowing you to purchase tickets for events you've been to before ahead of other people.

At Skiddle.com we pride ourselves on our honest and open approach, and are always looking for new ways to reduce costs for our customers, leaving you with more money to spend on enjoying yourselves.

If you have any concerns or queries about online ticket selling following tonight's programme, please don't hesitate to call or email us and we'll be happy to set your mind at rest. You'll find all our contact details here
