Blackpool has enjoyed some cracking events already this year and this winter sees another highlight in the waiting, Blackpool Rocks. Taking over the Winter Gardens for one whole night on the December 21st, some of the biggest bands and DJs are in the offing for a phenomenal end to the year.
Radio One favourites Pete Tong and Danny Howard, UK bass music heroine Hannah Wants and electronic duo of the year, bar none Disclosure will be in charge of rave duties. Ubiquitous four piece The 1975, Swim Deep and Little Comets will be throwing some tasty indie treats whilst Trevor Nelson, Wretch 32 and Rae Morris will be supplying everything from hip hop, through r’n’b, grime through acoustic, with hefty amounts of soul chucked in for good measure.
It’s an all night affair of relentless music and partying, bringing that festival feeling to an unlikely venue in an unlikely time of year.
