On Sunday 26th July 2020, popular British heritage act UB40 will bring reggae back to London's iconic Crystal Palace Park, 40 years after Bob Marley and the Wailers performed at the Crystal Palace Garden Party.
Topping a yet to be announced bill of artists at the very first At The Palace event, two of the founding members of the four times grammy nominated, multi-million record selling, chart topping group in the form of unmistakable lead vocalist Ali Campbell and trumpet maestro Astro will perform some of the bands many greatest hits to crowds of up to 15,000, including 'Kingston Town' and Neil Diamond cover, 'Red Red Wine'.
The recently announced one day event, set to be one of South London's biggest summer festival experiences in 2020, will also consist of an array of fairground rides, a vast and mouth watering choice of food stalls to suit anyone’s tastes, a plethora of bars serving Rum, Gin, Pimm’s, Prosecco and cocktails, and plenty of free activities to ensure an action-packed day of fun, food and music for all.
Those looking for a more stylish and exclusive experience can also purchase VIP tickets for the event. VIP ticket holders will be able to skip queues and gain fast track entrance into the festival, access the VIP food court and bars, and make full use of the posh loo facilities. There will also be a limited number of Golden Circle tickets, giving those lucky enough to acquire one, usually restricted admittance to the front of stage, to watch a band of their choice performing live.
