UK Festival Awards 2016 shortlists unveiled

The polls for the UK Festival Awards 2016 are now shut and the shortlists for the categories decided on by a public have now been finalised.

A team made up mostly of industry juries will decide the shortlists for the remaining categories, including Best Use Of New Technology, Promoter Of The Year and of course Best Toilets, amongst others.

Download Festival, Creamfields, Reading Festival & Leeds festival and Glastonbury are all in line for the Best Major Festival gong which is sponsored by Skiddle, while Bestival and Kendal Calling are on the shortlist for Best Medium Sized Festival.

Liverpool Music Week features amongst the Best Small Festival line up while Bluedot and The Bolton Weekender are in the running for the Best New Festival prize, also sponsored by Skiddle.

Creamfields is also up for Best Dance Event along with The Social Festival and We Are FSTVL.

The winners will be announced at the UK festival awards & conference 2016 at The Roundhouse Theatre in London on Monday 28th November. Tickets for the event are available from the box below.
