Brutal, shambolic, savage and unpredictable, American comedian Doug Stanhope has been on the road for 20 years, and is marking the occasion with his first ever UK tour.
He'll be hitting Liverpool's St George's Hall on Tuesday 5 April, with his unsettling, uninhibited, incendiary no-holds-barred comedy. Known to many for his rants to camera on Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe, Doug is a raging, vitriolic, viciously coruscating critic of the stupidity of our social and political systems and the moronic saps who sustain it.
When not on the road Doug lives in a multi-coloured day-glo compound in the remote town of Bisbee, Arizona - seven miles from the border with Mexico - he shares with Bingo his girlfriend, two dogs and three cats.
Doug Stanhope comes to Liverpool on Wednesday 6th April 2011. Tickets are available below.
