Yes, that's right, it's Radio 1s very own DNB icon, Charlie Tee, and in preparation for her 2023 festival forays, we wanted to shine our spotlight on her; particularly her set and stage hosting at Highest Point

Welcome aboard fellow ravers, with the ventures into the sonic seas of the festival season fast approaching, we wanted to shine a light on someone who is a hardened captain of choppy waters of the UK Drum and Bass scene - none other than the illustrious Charlie Tee! She's not just a maestro behind the decks, but also on the airwaves, as the host of Radio 1’s Drum and bass show; steering the airwaves with her charismatic energy and a penchant for trendsetting.
Of all the destinations the groove inducer is porting at this year, we simply can’t look past her slot at Highest Point Festival in Lancaster, where she is not only playing but hosting the stage too. With the likes of Sub Focus, Sigma, and Goddard in tow, we already know that these sets will be hitting punters with a tidal wave of bass-fuelled fervour, and we can’t wait to see what else she’s got hiding beneath the decks.
If you're a fan of the UK DnB scene, then you probably already know all about Charlie Tee. But for those not in the know, here's the lowdown. A fixture in the UK music industry for some time now, Charlie Tee has quickly become a force to be reckoned with.
As one of the best recent acquisitions on the BBC Radio 1 airwaves, Charlie Tee is quickly becoming a household name, regularly showcasing the latest and greatest in DnB and becoming a renowned and reliable trendsetter.
But it's her live shows that truly set her apart. Effortlessly fusing together drum and bass, jungle and bassline with unrelenting energy and precision; Charlie crafts set that take crowds on a sonic expedition through the many facets of Drum and Bass; seamlessly blending classic tracks with the freshest sounds from across the genre. Basically, you never know what you're going to get with a Charlie Tee set, but one thing's for sure, you won't be standing still!
We, as you should be, are teeming in anticipation at the thought of seeing the Highest Point stage curated by Charlie Tee herself, and we’ve already cleaned, locked, and loaded are gun-fingers in preparation. Plus, with the gorgeous Williamson Park on side, and a set of her own to look forward to, there really is no better place to see Charlie Tee during this year's festival-based frivolities, we’ll see you skanking down the front!
