Unity Radio teams up with Skiddle at Wickerman 2013

 For those of you unlucky enough to be missing this year’s Wickerman, all is not lost. Manchester based radio station Unity Radio have announced plans to broadcast sets from Friday night’s headliners, live and direct. The station dedicated to bringing the finest in hip hop, r&b, drum ‘n’ bass, and dance music has since its inception become the go-to station for the discerning listener, and lives up to that mantle by transmitting three of the biggest sets of the coming weekend.

The nearly sold out festival boasts a bigger and better dance line up than ever, and this fridays is no exception. None other than Kissy Sell Out, Felix Leiter and Kryder will be pouring through the airwaves to a wireless near you.

Since becoming one of the biggest names in recent times, Kryder’s signature blend of house, trance and electro has gained him adoration from dancefloors across the country. After his first release appeared on trance god father Tiesto’s label back in 2011, Kryders journey to the top has been a stellar one. With plenty of remixes in the bag and a number of top drawer productions, Kryder’s reputation as both a DJ and producer make him one of the most hotly anticipated arrivals at Wickerman this year.

Joinig him will be Newcastle based Felix Leiter. With years in the game, supporting likes of Armand Van Helden, Faithless and Pete Tong at regular interval, Felix has spent years honing his craft to become one of the most celebrated party starting DJs in the country. His club brand Elektriqa has hosted the likes of Calvin Harris and Laidback Luke, and his productions regularly find their ways into the record boxes of Roger Sanchez, Tiesto, and Fedde Le Grand to name a few. His career is continually on the rise, and his appearance at Wickerman promises to show off everything that makes the DJ a legend in his own right.

And finally, the four deck wizardry of Electro hero Kissy Sell Out will arrive to headline the Friday night’s proceedings. After bursting onto the scene with his original remixes of Gwen Stefani, Calvin Harris and Mark Ronson, Kissy established himself as a man with the unique skill of bringing underground sensibilities to the mainstream with crossover mixes that had everyone wanting more. He later went on to produce a number of albums and host his popular Radio One show, setting him up as a tastemaker for a generation. His technical abilities behind the decks have astounded fellow DJs and crowds around the world, as his passion and skill continue to transfix fans. With his finger firmly on the pulse, Kissy is more adept than most than busting out a cutting edge mix that will be impossible not to move to. His performance is not to be missed!
