Paper Recordings presents Cottam

To celebrate Paper Recordings' new compilation Paper Cuts #1, the label are throwing a party in their home town featuring house hero Cottam. Fresh from remixing Jamie L's In The Burg for Paper, Cottam will be unleashing his box of bass heavy deep house and disco floor fillers on a strictly limited capacity crowd at Manchester's coolest new underground venue. Support comes from Neil Diablo, a forthcoming label star and resident Flash Atkins.

Now Wave and 2022nq present Foals DJ set

Foals are known wordwide for their uplifting live sets, but few also know about their deep disco vibe DJ sets. This special 2022nq event in association with respected Manchester promoters Now Wave, sees the band celebrate the launch of their K7! mix CD with a rare DJ set in the basement of 2022nq. Supporting Foals on the decks will be Now Wave , The Countach (Fabric / Kill 'Em All) and 310 -190 (Selective Hearing). Capacity is very limited. Ticket only event.

Ramsbottom Festival presents Otis Gibbs

Folk singer-songwriter and storyteller Otis Gibbs plays live at 2022nq on July 10th, in warm up for his appearance at Ramsbottom Festival in September. Otis has spent the last fifteen years travelling across America and has a story to share about each stop along the way - so join him in the atmospheric surroundings of 2022nq to listen to some of his tales.

CounterCultureClub

CounterCultureClub is a late-night cross-art adventure in new performance. Smashing the fourth wall, and bringing down the house, CounterCultureClubputs together a mix of music, spoken word, comedy, visual art, theatre and DJs for an unrivalled night of live independent arts. Join the revolution this Bastille Day for the launch of Box of Tricks one-night-only underground parties.
