When we looked at the dawn of the new era of mUmU Sessions earlier in the week, one of the defining characteristics was the presence of a more permanent home, with a slight shift from the nomadic experience of old.
The Kitchen Street Pop Up was selected, nestled in Liverpool’s creative hub The Baltic District and having been previously utilised to such devastating effect for the more intimate mUmU gatherings, will form a new presence on Liverpool with four upcoming events to look forward to. Here's what to check at the venue in the upcoming weeks...
House gathering Polka is the first party coming up at Kitchen St, taking place on Friday 21st February with Dale Howard and RJay Murphy at the helm. Howard's production prowess has seen him light up labels such as Noir, OFF Recordings, Morris Audio, Local Talk and Audiojack's Gruuv imprint, earning fans like Dubfire, Dj Sneak, Luciano and Reboot in the process. If you like your house laced with groove then Howard is perfect; peep his Podcast for Off below for further proof.

mUmU's first party under the mUMU Sessions features German DJ Mathias Kaden at the helm, starting a new era at the club where the focus is on a singular guest playing for an extended set; this time Kaden will play for four hours. Lee Rands joins him, you can read what we said about the event here.

Northern Irish disco evangelist Space Dimension Controller heads to Liverpool on Saturday 22nd March to play all night long at Kitchen St. Promising a six hour audio visual treat, he'll be cavorting through his cavernous music collection for a set that will showcase the breadth of his influences. Anyone who has digged his releases on Clone, R&S and Kinnego will know how far back his palette stretches.
Expect everything from lost forgotten italo classics, spacey techno, shrieking electronics and much more to weave in and out of the mix across the evening. to whet your appetite check out the stunning synth driven DJ set he delivered for the Boiler Room in September 2013 above.
The second installment of the mUmU Sessions party sees them welcoming Fuse of London main man Enzo Siragusa for another four hour set in the venue. Fuse has become a regular fixture in Sankeys both in Manchester and in Ibiza (they head to Ancoats with Enzo on Saturday 1st March) with Siragusa's renown as a DJ becoming more and more widely know across the globe.
A true aficionado of sound (Fuse is famed for the hours spent tweaking soundsystems prior to it starting for a constant lust for Aural perfection), Enzo's groove building capabilities remain second to none. Expect a lengthy and luxurious trip through the annals of house music history.
Your Enzo Siragusa tickets can be snapped up here.
