The Baltic Triangle in Liverpool has become a hotbed for creatives and promoters. From art exhibitions to raves, the city's innovative minds have been taking advantage of the versatile spaces dotted around the district.
The stripped back warehouse spaces make for the ideal foundations for thriving underground music events, and with a little push in the right direction from top end production, venues like The Garage tick all the boxes for a proper clubbing experience. The next few weeks are shaping up to be mega and we've taken a closer look at the events they have lined up.
Hosting their launch night on Friday 30th January are Masq and they're set to do things a little bit differently. Cue every attendee wearing a white mask in a dark warehouse, surrounded by dancers in morph suits. The soundtrack for this completely unique affair comes courtesy of Liverpool favourite John Cotton, J Daly and Django's House Party. Get your tickets here.
Fast forward to Friday 13th February and dot. are throwing their first party of 2015 with Phaeleh playing an extended set. The atmospheric producer has roots with dubstep, garage and house but it's his unparalleled approach to making dreamy electronica that has catapulted him into the spotlight (have a listen to his track 'A World Without' above). Head here to grab your dot. tickets.
Onto Saturday 21st February and Rubix are set to bring a Cocoon favourite to Liverpool, Ilario Alicante alongside house heavyweight Reset Robot. Ilario made his Timewarp debut when he was just 15 years old and since then has had releases on some of the most prestigious techno labels. If you want to catch these two in action, head here for tickets.
The illustrious Garage Nation will be bringing their legendary club night to the venue on Saturday 28th February with DJ Luck and MC Neat taking centre stage. The duo had three consecutive top 10 hits in 1999 and 2000, most notably with their garage classic 'A Little Bit of Luck' (listen above). Get your tickets for Garage Nation here.
