Hot new independent music venue, The Live Rooms is changing the dynamic of Saturday nights in Chester by hosting a wealth of live acts. The unique venue has formerly seen Yousef (Circus), Route 94, Gorgon City amongst many more notable appearances. It's latest string of announcements sees Matrix & Futurebound, Mark Eg & Kutski, Sigma and SecondCity head to Chester.
The venue which is set in close proximity to the train station and main bus routes boasts a main room which has hosted some of the biggest names in music since its birth in 2013 as well as a side room which is more aligned with smaller intimate gigs.
The first in line of events are drum and bass duo Matrix & Futurebound who know a thing or two about infiltrating the charts. The duo famously combined in 2007 and went on to make a name for themselves thanks to their integration of melodic soundscapes, heavyweight dance floor production and original vocals.
Their most recent top 10 success arrived in the form of 'Control' which peaked at number 7 and their latest single 'Don't look back' is expected to be one of the sounds of this Summer (which you can listen to above)

Next up are local heroes Mark Eg and Kutski who purvey the finest in hard dance. This will be BBC Radio 1 and Hardstyle DJ of the year Kutski's first ever homecoming, who, alongside Mark Eg who will play a blistering double header in each room.

SecondCity rose to prominence with sound of this summer 'I Wanna Feel' which duly smashed it and rocketed straight to number one. The artist backed by the likes of Annie Mac, Skream and Zane Lowe is one of the UK's hottest new talents who shows no sign of stopping any time soon. (Listen to the big summer anthem ('I Wanna Feel' above)
Shenoda also plays on the night. The Hypercolour staple has an abundance of solid EPs under his belt influenced by garage whilst abiding by his trademark groove laced house and techno.

Rounding off the impressive chain of announcements is drum and bass duo Sigma (read our interview with them here). They've made a huge impact on the DnB front for a number of years racking up releases on a myriad of high profile record labels, and most recently enjoyed immense crossover success with number one DnB anthem 'Nobody to Love' (listen below). This will be big.
