London's warehouse scene is booming. A litany of old spaces transformed into clubbing environments, the huge variety has led to a wide-ranging cluster of events which has seen electronic music re-engaged with it's acid house past. It's also seen a number of spaces transformed directly for that purpose, no truer the case that the straight-to-the-point named Warehouse LDN.

The venue is the archetypal Warehouse club space, exposed bricks and imposing steelwork dovetailing to give that raw feel alongside a futuristic sheen in terms of lighting and sound; the latter delivered via a custom built Funktion One soundsystem. It's the kind of space which relies only on the right characteristic to enhance the real reason you're there; the music.

That focus is further proven by the calibre of artists and events they are putting on. In a further nod to the twenty first century acid house feel, they can boast a plethora of the strongest names in underground coming up between now and New Year's eve, with Audiojack and Brodanse playing on Saturday 16th November and Mark Fanicuilli one week later on the 23rd.

December is just as exciting, Danish connoisseur Noir and Nice7 running tings on the 7th and then Hot Creations' starlet Robert James in the house on Saturday 21st December, the final weekend forage before Christmas.

New Year's Eve is the one screaming out to us however, with Moon Harbour talisman and one of the DJs mostly associated with the spiraling sonics of Circo Loco, Matthias Tanzmann headlining. The Dj remains one of those rare few that can rock on a variety of flavours, easily adept at dropping low slung house grooves as he is full on visceral techno. Check his mix from Love Family Park above for an indicator of the man's skill.
